Notarisation Terms

When you notarise data or a document on StradiVault, you record a cryptographic fingerprint — a unique code representing it — on the public XRP Ledger. Before proceeding, it's important that you understand what this involves.
Notarisation is permanent and public
Once recorded, the fingerprint remains on the XRP Ledger permanently. It cannot be modified, deleted or removed — not by you, not by StradiVault, not by anyone else. The ledger is public: anyone can verify its existence. Notarising means leaving a permanent, searchable trace over time.
You are responsible for what you notarise
StradiVault provides you with the tool to record the fingerprint, but does not verify or certify the truthfulness of what you notarise. Responsibility for the authenticity and accuracy of the data and documents is entirely yours. In particular, attesting a false provenance is a serious violation of the platform's terms of use.
What happens if data is incorrect
If you realise after notarisation that a piece of data is wrong, you will not be able to remove it from the ledger — this is technically impossible. You can, however, flag it within your profile, marking it as incorrect or corrected, so that anyone viewing it sees its updated status.

By proceeding with notarisation, you confirm that you understand the operation is permanent, public and irreversible, and that you are responsible for what you record.
